In contrast, renewable energy sources, such as solar, wind, and
hydroelectric power, provide carbon-neutral, continuous, and
sustainable solutions to meet energy demands. These abundant
natural resources are environmentally friendly, making them ideal
for long-term energy security. This research focuses specifically
on solar energy, which is particularly well-suited with Pakistan's
geographic conditions. The country benefits from extensive
sunshine hours and predominantly clear skies throughout most of
the year across various regions (Rauf & Nasrullah, 2017). Figure
43 shows the solar potential in Pakistan.
