Ts. Dr. Azri Alias is a highly respected Senior
Lecturer at the Faculty of Mechanical &
Automotive Engineering Technology, Universiti
Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA).
He earned his Ph.D. in System Science from
Okayama University of Science, Japan. Dr. Azri's
diverse research interests include Renewable Energy, Multiphase
Flow, Thermo Energy, Food/Biomass Processing, Computational
Fluid Dynamics, and Automotive Engineering. He is currently
serving as the Director of the Center for Alumni Relations at
UMPSA. Dr. Azri's research interests are broad and include
Thermal Energy, Fluidized Bed, Fluid Flow, Turbocharger, Heat
Transfer, Computational Fluid Dynamics, Food/Biomass
Processing, and Multiphase Flow. He has successfully supervised
multiple PhD and MSc students, focusing on areas such as
turbocharger performance, thermal-hydraulic performance of
nanofluids, and fluidized bed drying for food industries.
Mr. Danial Mohamed is a Senior Research Officer
based at the Centre for Advanced Industrial
Technology, Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-
Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA). With a strong
background in mechanical and manufacturing
engineering, Danial specializes in material
characterization, electron microscopy, sensors and
instrumentation, and high-speed imaging systems. He holds a
Master’s degree in Manufacturing System Engineering from
Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) and a Bachelor’s degree in
Mechanical Engineering from Universiti Teknologi MARA
(UiTM). Throughout his career, Danial has played pivotal roles in
national-level initiatives. He served as the Program Manager for
the ECERDC program focusing on outboard and vehicle engine
development and also previously acts as the Coordinator for the
Industrial Centre of Excellence (ICOE) under the Ministry of
Higher Education (MOHE), specializing in the automotive
cluster.
