Three-Point Bending Simulation
Three-point bending simulations were carried out using ANSYS
structural analysis software. This was done by applying the Finite
Element Analysis (FEA) method since it is the most efficient
method for simulating real-world problems. The implicit mesh
was first converted to a solid body in SpaceClaim, and then the
simulations was carried out in the mechanical module. These
simulations were conducted at five displacement values: 2mm,
5mm, 10mm, 15mm, and 20mm. A load was applied in the middle
of the beam, and the equivalent strain and stress distribution
resulting from this were studied. Bonded contacts were
established between the fixed supports and the beam, and the
displacement was applied through pusher.
