               TESTING METHODS

               d33 Coefficient of Thin Film

After fabricating our Aluminium-Rochelle thin film, we applied
some testing methods on it to check its abilities, First, we
measured its d33 coefficient with the help of a d33 Test Meter,
shown in Figure 52. The Model YE2730A d33 Meters is a special
instrument for directly measuring the piezoelectric constant d33
values of piezoelectric ceramics, polymers, and single crystals.
The first step was to put the standard particle in it, whose
coefficient was 379 pC/N, and then, with its help, we calibrated
the coefficient of our Aluminium-Rochelle salt thin film.

               Taping Test

Considering this process, a thin film of Aluminium and Rochelle
salt, both known for their piezoelectric properties, were connected
to a Hantek digital storage oscilloscope (model DSO5202P). Anti-
static gloves were used to ensure results were accurate; these
gloves come with conductive coating on the thumb and index
finger, which is useful while operating touchscreen gadgets
               without removing the gloves.
